The European Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Kappa actively supports the Sigma Kappa Foundation. The mission of the Sigma Kappa Foundation is to fund educational programs that promote intellectual, leadership, and ethical development among members of Sigma Kappa and others, and to benefit society through philanthropic endeavors including grants for Alzheimer’s Disease research and gerontology studies.

Programs supported by the Foundation include:

 

• Scholarships for undergraduate and graduate studies

• Member education and leadership programs, including convention speakers and the leadership consultant program

• Grants for Alzheimers and Gerontology studies

• The Maine Sea Coast Mission

 

Although members are not required to participate in philanthropic or fundraising events, activities are often planned, according to member interest.
